2021 Arkansas Valley Throwdown March 27 - 28

The last weekend in March over 75 registered players from across Colorado will be participating in the first Arkansas Valley Throwdown disc golf tournament. The Tournament will be held at two disc golf courses in Bent County. Sammie George and Rob George with Good Day Disc Golf are the organizers of the event.

The 2021 Arkansas Valley Throwdown presented by Dynamic Discs will be a 3- round, 2- day event featuring the new Caddoa DGC (located at John Martin Reservior) and LABCo DGC, both courses were just installed last year!

Tournament organizers are looking for volunteers to help out during the tournament. Anyone interested in volunteering- please contact gooddaydiscgolf@gmail.com

About the Courses

Caddoa Disc Golf Course

Located south of the Arkansas River near Caddoa, CO. The DGC is located on U.S. Army Corps of Engineer's property. 29955 County Road 25.75 Hasty, CO 81044. The course is free to play.

There are two possible configurations; an 18 hole EXPERT (blue) course, or an 18 hole Recreation (red) course. Tee signs are installed as of 31 Aug 2020. Course maps and a disc drop box are located in the pavilion across the driveway from the DGC parking area. For more information, please call (719) 336-3476, option 1

Las Animas Disc Golf Course

Pay to play
$5 per person per day.
Annual memberships are also available
 
Course Privately Located at Las Animas Bent County Golf Course. There is a per day fee, or annual memberships are available.
