RFFD Responds: One Vehicle VS House Accident on US Hwy 50

Today at approximately 5:30 am we were dispatched to the area of 18500 block of Hwy 50 westbound just outside of Rocky Ford for a 1 vehicle accident versus house. 

Upon arrival fire personnel found 1 child patient outside of vehicle, and 1 adult patient still trapped inside the vehicle. 

Fire and EMS crews extricated the patient through the windshield, and both patients were transported in critical condition to AVRMC. 

The house recieved significant damage but no one was injured in the house.  The cause of the accident is being investigated by Colorado State Patrol.  Traffic control assisted by RFPD, and OCSO.  All units cleared scene at 08:15am.
