Southeast Colorado Residents Celebrated the Abundance of Local Agriculture with BBQ's March 20, 2021

The Prowers County Farm Bureau knows how to throw a party. 1. Great Venue, The Lamar Welcome Center. 2. Great Food, Southeast Colorado BBQ. 3. Great Sponsors, Area Ag Related Businesses. 4. Most Importantly, Great People Together for a Great Cause, Donations went to area FFA and 4H Programs.
There was a spot to sit and enjoy the pleasant weather, food, and camaraderie at the Lamar Welcome Center.
Plenty of local folks were willing to wait in line for a free meal. There was also an abundance of good company at Meat-IN events across Southeast Colorado.
Almost Home Cooking Served these Loaded Pulled Pork Nachos during the La Junta Toy Show at Valley Trading Post on March 20th.
Nearly every town in Southeast Colorado had multiple Meat-IN events, from local restaurants and grocery stores to Farm and Ranch Supply and even local insurance agencies pushed the celebration of Southeast Colorado's Agriculture Industries. The Kiowa County Fairgrounds saw over 750 people at their local FFA Fundraiser in Eads.
