3 Vehicle Accident in Rocky Ford Under Investigation

Rocky Ford Fire Department Reports 3 Vehicle Accident

Today at approximately 1137am we responded to a 3 vehicle accident on Hwy 50 and Hwy 71.  Upon arrival we found Hwy 50 westbound in both lanes blocked.  No extrication was needed and 1 person was transported to AVRMC with minor injuries.  OCSO, and CDOT assisted in traffic control opening 1 lane of travel westbound on Hwy 50 while we assessed those involved in the accident.

Accident is being investigated by CSP.  Please drive carefully,  be aware of your surroundings, and keep from distractions while driving.  We want all of you to make it home safe to your families and friends.
