RFFD Responds To Newdale-Grand Valley Pumphouse Fire

Today at approximately 1:30 pm we responded to an electrical fire at the Newdale-Grand Valley Water Company pump house on Hwy 71 approximately mile marker 11.  The cause of fire is underdetermined at this time. 

Extensive damage was done to the exterior electrical meter, and unknown extent of damage to interior of pump house.  Fire was quickly extinguished contained to the exterior of the building and no injuries were reported. 

Residents within the Newdale-Grand Valley Water Company service area are asked to conserve water until further notice.
