National Weather Service of Pueblo Purgatorie River Forecast May 27 2021

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Purgatorie River near Las Animas is expected to rise above flood stage, to a crest of 9 feet, by tomorrow evening . It was at 3.3 feet at about 8:15 this morning at by 6:15 p.m. tonight, it was at 6.3 feet. Minor agricultural flooding is expected. This photo was taken at 7:50 p.m. tonight.
