Interview with Fire Chief Brad Davidson:

SECO News: This is Adrian Hart with your Southeast Colorado News on seconews.org

And with me is La Junta Fire Chief Brad Davidson. You guys just responded to a vehicle fire out here next to Industrial Park, do you want to tell us a little bit about it?

Davidson: Sure. Yeah, we got a report of a vehicle coming through town, headed this way, that was smoking out of the bed of the dump truck while in route, they finally got pulled over at the intersection of Hwy 109 and Industrial. The bed of the truck was on fire; it looked like it had a bunch of construction materials.

SECO News: 2x4's and whatnot.

Davidson: 2x4's and 4x4's and some tree branches and stuff. We ended up getting him pulled over and got the stuff dumped out of it and the everything contained.

SECO News: Alright. Very good.

Davidson: Alright.

SECO News: I appreciate the work protecting the community.

Davidson: You betcha. Thank you.

SECO News: Thank you.
