Child Maltreatment Prevention Program (CMPP)

The Child Maltreatment Prevention Program (CMPP) is looking for parents to represent the three counties in our area, Otero, Bent and Crowley. We would like a minimum of two parents from each county, but more would be wonderful. We need the input of what information and/or resources are and are not available to you. Do you know what is available, where to find them, who to ask? This is the data we are looking for to create a plan for stopping child abuse and neglect.

Parents or Caregivers must:
- live in Otero, Bent or Crowley County
- Be a Parent or Stepparent or
- Be a Kinship Providers or Foster Parent or
- Be a Grandparent, Aunt, Uncle or Sibling

With child(ren) living in their home up to the age of 18 years.

Each Parent Representative will receive a stipend of $50.00 for each meeting they attend.

The orientation meeting will be the middle of September. The Leadership Team meeting will start the end of September and finish by the middle of November. We will send out Doodle polls for the orientation and Leadership Team meetings.
