Monday afternoon the Otero County Sheriff's Office assisted the Colorado State Patrol in responding to an flatbed trailer that had struck parked vehicles at the Swink Manor Apartments on Columbia Ave. The trailer was not hauling a load at the time and there appeared to be no injuries on the scene. Several Otero County Sheriff Deputies assisted to make sure the scene was safe and to mitigate traffic while the accident was cleaned up. The Colorado State Patrol is the reporting agency on the case.
