LA JUNTA SENIOR GOLF LEAGUE – October 19, 2021
By: Janet Golding
La Junta Senior Golf League met to play 9 holes of scramble golf, with a putting challenge on the odd number holes. There were 35 members playing, seven teams of 5 players. Each player that was able to hole out a challenge putt then subtracted one stoke from their team's total score. There were 3 putts made from three separate individuals. There also was a challenge chip shot, but no one made that shot.
Next Tuesday is our final Senior League game for the season. We will have a special scramble game with each player getting two mulligans. One mulligan on the green and one in the fairway. There will be a special putting challenge and everyone will get two chances to make the challenge chip. We meet at 9:30 am on Tuesday to sign up and golf starts at 10:00 am.
October 26 will be our last Senior Golf League game until next spring.
