La Junta City Crew Hangs The Christmas Garland
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in downtown La Junta thanks to the city crew hanging the garland downtown. Thursday afternoon they were working on Colorado Avenue and with temperatures in the 70's it was great weather for it.
According to the workers when they did the wiring on the light posts there was ice on the sidewalks so it was nice to have the sunshine and warm weather for hanging the garland.
