LJFD VS Hwy 10 Vehicle Fire

At approx 2225 last night (12/17/21) we were dispatched for a vehicle fire on Hwy 10.

Chief Davidson found the location to be 1/8 of a mile West of Rd 24.5 and Hwy 10.

A pick up was fully engulfed in the front yard of the residence. A quick attack on the fire and surrounding yard and tree stopped the fire.

Cause of fire was from a burn barrel that had been used for burning trash a couple of hours before the fire.

On scene was 31, Eng 1, Tender 1. No injuries noted.
