New Soccer Programs for 7th & 8th Grades in the Arkansas Valley

We are happy to announce that the La Junta Recreation Department has expanded their spring soccer season to include a co-ed seventh & eighth grade age group.

This soccer opportunity is brand new, and is in addition to the already existing K-6th grade age groups.

Teams are forming now & games will begin after spring break! It is open to all children, boys & girls, who are in 7th or 8th grade from all schools in this area—Fowler, Manzanola, Rocky Ford, Crowley County, Swink, La Junta, Cheraw, Kim, Pioneer Christian & Las Animas! Register soon as the deadline is Friday March 4th, 2022.

The La Junta Department of Recreation is happy to collaborate with their community partners Dr. Patrick Smith, Valley-Wide Health Systems & the AVRMC Medical Staff to sponsor the area’s first-ever 7th/8th Grade Recreation Soccer League.

Costs are reduced for this inaugural season!
