RFPD Catch and Release Easter Bunny at Babcock Park
Description: Without incident, and due to a lack of evidence, a suspect was caught and released in a bizarre situation only described by witnesses as an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday morning in Rocky Ford.

On April 16th at 10am The Rocky Ford Police responded to a report of a suspicious person hiding easter eggs at Babcock Park.
Upon arrival on the scene officers found an individual matching the description reported to dispatchers.
After questioning the suspect, a Mr. E. Bunny, officers conducted a search of Babcock Field.
It was determined that there were no longer any Easter eggs at Babcock Park or on Mr. E. Bunny's person. Without incident or evidence, the suspect was released.
If you found eggs or candy at Babcock Park on Saturday morning there's no need to report, instead just enjoy. The Rocky Ford Police and SECO News wish you a Happy Easter!
