8th Annual Southeast Colorado Youth Entrepreneurship Fair (E-Fair)
Students in 5th - 12 grades from across the seven counties in SE Colorado are invited to attend (Baca, Bent, Crowley, Kiowa, Las Animas, Otero, & Prowers). There are two divisions, i.e. Middle School and High School, and cash prizes are awarded to the top five students in each division, and to the 4E Award winner.
All winners in both divisions have a business established and operational at this time.
The 4E Award was presented to a student business owner who reflected "Exceptional Entrepreneurial Effort Extended" The winner of the 4E Award this year was Alex Wesbrook, a 10th grade HomeSchool student from Las Animas. Alex operates a Facebook page, "Bent County Bulletin (BCB)", sharing information about his community with Bent County residents.

Evangelina Elliott - Honorable Mention - Vilas Middle School - 7th grade

Khloe Kuhn - 1st place - Home School/Olney Springs - 6th grade
