Lamar Fire Department VS 2AM Structure Fire

Lamar Fire responded to a reported structure fire at 0248 last night.  Engine 6 was first on scene and reported lazy smoke coming from side A of the structure.

A supply line was established by Quint 1 and attack lines were pulled to make entry. Crews on scene found that the fire was under the front porch with minor extension into the structure.

Crews we able to mop up and clear the scene at approximately 0430.

Thank you to Lamar Police Department, Prowers County Communications, and Prowers County Rural Fire Department for assistance. Units on scene were Engine 6, Engine 2, Engine 5, Quint 1, Truck 1, Rescue 1, Med 6, Med 2, and Chief 1.
