La Junta Senior Golf Results July 5, 2022

The La Junta Senior Golf League met on July 5 to play a scramble string game with 38 players. Two guest players were welcomed, Marvin and Wanda Ballard. We had seven teams of four players and two teams of five players.  It was a very competitive contest with very low scores and extra fun was generated by some fantastic playing! Claudia Conley got a “Hole In One” on hole #2 and also made the challenge putt on hole #1. In addition, Jay Bollacker got the challenge putt on hole #1. The challenge chip was split into three different locations, holes #3, #6, and #9.  Douglas Golding made the chip into the hole on green #6. 

    Next Tuesday, July 12, the Seniors League will meet for a regular scramble contest. We will meet to sign up at 8:15 to 8:30 am and play will begin at 9:00 am.  If you are wanting to play, but will be a little late to sign up, call 469-0691.
