Obituary
William “Bill” Wilson of Center passed away on July 3, 2022 in Aurora after a lengthy illness that he fought hard to the end. Bill was born in Trinidad on March 28, 1949 to Hazel & Eddie Wilson. He answered his country’s call to join the Army on April Fools Day of 1969. On June 14, 1969 he married his high school sweetheart Connie Herndon. Together they had 2 children. Trucking was his life and all that he ever wanted to do. Bill and Connie started Bill Wilson Trucking in 1980 where they hauled grain, cattle and presently produce. Bill’s family was the light of his life and he was always thinking of his wife and family along with his business. His boys and grandchildren are currently in the trucking business.
Bill is survived by his wife of 53 years Connie Wilson, his 2 sons: Eddie (Jodi) Wilson, Jeffrey (Jaime) Wilson, 4 grandchildren: Jaden Wilson, Gracie Wilson, William (Buddy) Wilson & Presley Wilson all of Center, 2 sisters: Jeanette Madsen of Goldendale, WA & Barbara Wookey of Rocky Ford along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held in Rocky Ford. There will be a Celebration of Life in Monte Vista at a later date.
Bellwood Ford Ustick Funeral Home is in charge of Arrangements.
