La Junta Fire Department Responds to Hwy 50 Vehicle Fire

At approx 1200 today we responded to Hwy 50 at MM 382 East of La Junta for vehicle on fire.

Upon arrival fire on the front end of the vehicle engine compartment and was starting to weeds on fire in the ditch.

Quick knock down helped extinguish the spread of the fire in the ditch and from the vehicle. No injuries noted.
