City of Rocky Ford Water Main Break Repaired at 12th and Hopkins

Description: The City of Rocky Ford Crew Worked Long Hours on Thursday October 29th. A Water Main Break Took Heavy Equipment and Plenty of Man Power To Repair.

Water Main Break in Rocky Ford

City of Rocky Ford workers worked together to manage traffic and heavy equipment to fix a water Main Break Thursday afternoon. 

Traffic slowed for city workers at the intersection of 12th and Hopkins as the repairs were made.

Plenty of warning signs led up to the work site. Traffic was limited to one lane, but did not appear to be backing up too bad.

Most of the guys on the crew kept out of the mud.

Some splash back couldn't be avoided. It is a dirty job and somebody's got to do it afterall...

Thank a city employee the next time you get the chance. It's their hard work that keeps small Colorado towns going.
