1. Proper Disposal of Expired Hand Sanitizer: We have received questions about how to properly dispose of expired hand sanitizer. We checked with the Otero County Landfill, and an acceptable way to dispose of your expired hand sanitizer is to turn it into a solid. You can do this by simply mixing it with a lumping cat litter, or even plain dirt. Then it can be appropriately disposed of in our landfill.
2. Recall/Outbreak Information: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have websites dedicated to recall and outbreak information. You can find that important information below:
