Description: Tuesday, April 18 CR 18 will be closed on the south side of US 50 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Work will consist of grading, material placement and conduit installation.

US 50 & CO 71 Intersection Improvement Project
Traffic Update April 17 to April 21
The intersection improvement project will take place on US Highway 50 at CO Highway 71/County Road 18 in Rocky Ford.
Motorists Should Plan For:
US 50 (MP 366.74 to MP 367.12) and CO 71/CR 18 (MP 16.16 to MP 16.31)
● 24/7 US 50 westbound left turn lane closure
● Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. intermittent east and westbound single lane closure on US 50
24/7 10 foot wide 100 foot long restriction and lane shift on CO 71/CR 18
• Tuesday, April 18 CR 18 will be closed on the south side of US 50 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

● Do not speed in work zones. Obey the posted speed limits.
● Stay Alert! Expect the unexpected.
Watch for workers. Drive with caution.
● Don't change lanes unnecessarily.
● Avoid using mobile devices such as phones while driving in work zones.
● Turn on headlights so that workers and other drivers can see you.
Be especially alert at night while driving in work zones.
Expect delays, especially during peak travel times.
● Allow ample space between you and the car in front of you.
● Anticipate lane shifts and merge when directed to do so.
● Be patient!
