La Junta Senior Golf League Results June 27, 2023
 
The La Junta Senior Golf League met on June 27 for a three-club scramble golf game.  Every golfer could only take three clubs out on the course. There were 25 golfers and we split up into five teams of 5 players each. Everybody won! It was a very close competition. Everyone was either on a first, second or third place team.

1st Place, Score of 31

At our next league meeting on July 11, CaSandra Thomas is providing a dessert to be enjoyed in honor of the holiday.
 
Some important announcements: There will be NO Senior Golf League on July 4.  The League will resume on July 11, but the time will be changed due to the warmer weather.  We will begin sign up at 8:15 to 8:30am. Teams are picked at 8:45am and play will begin at 9:00am.  This is an hour earlier than previously. No one will be added to the teams after 8:45, when teams are picked, so if there is a chance of being late for sign up, give Cathy a call or text at 719-469-0691 so you can be put on the list.
