NWS: Winter Weather Advisory Dec 14, 2023

Description: The National Weather Service Office of Pueblo has Issued the Following Winter Weather Advisory Effective Until 11 AM.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Snow and areas of freezing rain possible. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. Light ice accumulations possible, especially within the lower Arkansas River Valley. Areas of dense fog will be possible this morning through 10 AM.

* WHERE...Kiowa, Bent, and Prowers Counties.

* WHEN...Until 5 PM MST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. Visibilities could become severely restricted in dense freezing fog.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
