Kathy Ann Torrez, 59, of La Junta, CO passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 at Bent County Health Care Center. She was born December 7, 1964 in La Junta to Alvaro & Estella (Chavez) Torrez.

Kathy is survived by her daughter Danette (Carlos) Larios of San Diego, CA; granddaughter, Alana Danielle; grandson, Daniel Ray; best friend & significant other, Ruben Bacerra of La Junta, CO; mother, Stella Torrez of Ordway, CO; 4 brothers & 1 sister; as well as numerous nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Alvaro Torrez; 2 sisters & 3 brothers.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Friday, February 23, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. followed by Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. Both services held at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in La Junta.
