Rocky Ford Fire Dept Joins International Association of Fire Fighters and Colorado Professional Firefighters Association

The career staff at Rocky Ford Fire Department has joined the International Association of Fire Fighters and the Colorado Professional Firefighters Association.

ROCKY FORD, CO - Rocky Ford Professional Fire Fighters Local 5497 is proud to announce their official affiliation with the International Association of Fire Fighters, further solidifying their commitment to protecting the rights and interests of professional firefighters in the community. This move will not only provide our members with added support and resources, but will also enhance our ability to effectively advocate for improved working conditions and fair compensation.

Rocky Ford Professional Fire Fighters Local 5497 is excited to take proactive steps to strengthen their relationship with the City Council and Community Members. We aim to address critical issues facing the fire department and ultimately enhance the level of service we provide to the residents of our service area.

Rocky Ford Professional Fire Fighters Local 5497 is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and excellence in firefighting and EMS. By joining the IAFF and collaborating with Chief Gonzales and city officials, we are taking the necessary steps to ensure our members have the resources and support they need to effectively carry out their vital work.
