Rocky Ford Man Arrested After Alleged Assault and Altercation with Officer, Faces Multiple Charges
On July 7th, 2024 at approximately 3:07 PM, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of N Main St. about an assault that had occurred. Officers were able to locate the suspect who was identified as William Campos of Rocky Ford.
While conducting the investigation Mr. Campos made the poor decision to spit on the officer and was immediately placed into custody.
Upon completion of the investigation, Mr. Campos was transported and booked into the Bent County Jail on the following charges: Assault in the Third Degree, Assault in the Third Degree on a Peace Officer, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
