Obituary

Yvonne Perfelia DeHerrera, 67, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away July28, 2024 at her Rocky Ford home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 5, 1957 to Floyd & Josephine (Segura) DeHerrera in Del Norte, CO. 

Yvonne was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was an amazing cook and will be missed by all who knew her.

Yvonne is survived by her husband, Michael Romero of the Rocky Ford home; children, Andrew Gallegos, Jolene Romero, and Michael Romero, Jr.; 6 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild; brothers, Robert DeHerrera, Joel DeHerrera, and Anthony DeHerrera; sisters, Liz Segura, Bernie Lucero, Angie Jaramillo, Mildred Lemay, Rita Wu, Mary Latham, and Martha DeHerrera. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Jody Gallegos; brothers, Ed DeHerrera & John DeHerrera; sister, Margie Contreras. 

As per Yvonne’s request, there are no services at this time.
