La Junta Senior Golf League Results - Aug 6, 2024

Forty-five golfers met at the La Junta Golf Course for the Tuesday Senior Golf League on August 6. With nine teams of 5 golfers, we played a scramble golf game. There was a straightest drive contest on hole #1, Bob Malden had the straightest drive. The challenge putt on hole #6 was made by Jay Bollacker, Tom Aldea, Shelly Grantham, Joy Grasmick, Norm Finkner, and Janet Golding. The challenge chip was on hole #4 but no one was able to make that chip.

We will meet again next week on August 13 for another round of golf.  We plan to play a scramble game with extra putts on every hole. Making one of those putts rewards the team by moving up one tee box on the next hole. Sign up is from 8:15 to 8:30 a.m. Teams are picked at 8:45 a.m. and play will begin at 9:00 a.m.   No one will be added to the teams after 8:45, when teams are picked, so if there is a chance of being late for sign up, give Cathy a call or text at 719-469-0691 so you can be put on the list.
