La Junta Fire Department Battles Structure Fire in Swink
From La Junta Fire Chief Brad Davidson via Social Media:
"At 2007 this evening in the 12 blk of West 1st in Swink a structure fire was paged out. Upon arrival heavy fire was showing. An aggressive exterior attack was made on each side of the residence. Mutual aid for extra man power came from Rocky Ford Fire because of the extreme cold temps. Fire was contained to the only residence. One male was transported to AVRMC for minor injuries and no injuries to firefighters. Chief 31, Eng 1, Truck 1, Rescue 1, Eng 3, Brush 3 and Med 3 on scene."
