Two Suspects Arrested in Lamar Drive-By Shooting Incident

On 11/24/2024 at approximately 2133 hours, Officers were dispatched to the south Loaf N Jug located at 1107 South Main Street in Lamar regarding a report of a drive by shooting.  

Upon arrival, Officers found the reporting parties who stated that a male subject shot at them with a shotgun.  The victims were not injured.  

The suspect in the shooting was found to be MARIO SAUCEDO of Lamar.  During the investigation, officers were able to identify the driver of the suspect vehicle to be AMANDA ARCHULETA.

Lamar Police Department apprehended ARCHULETA without incident on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024, in front of her residence at 508 N 11th Street in Lamar.

MARIO SAUCEDO was located in Lamar by the United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, and placed into custody without incident. 

The Lamar Police Department would like to thank the Colorado State Division of Adult Parole and the U.S. Marshal Service for their assistance in this case.

All Parties are Considered Innocent Until Proven Guilty in a Court of Law.
