Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Joshua Ethan Snyder (20), a beloved son, grandson, nephew and cousin. He will be remembered for his enthusiasm for life, love of family and friends, and desire to follow his God and Savior.

Born July 12, 2005, in Lamar, Colorado to loving parents, Matthew and Jennifer Snyder, he was the youngest sibling of Ashley, Jonathan and Jeffery. Blessed with a keen mind, he had an innate ability to grasp complex concepts, and he enjoyed exploring them.

Josh packed so much into his short life. He had many passions—reading, scholarship, public speaking, running long distance, playing the piano, and studying the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

He ran a marathon in Spain and served his Savior on a full-time mission to New Hampshire.

He truly loved his parents and family. He will be missed beyond words.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel located at 4720 Surfwood Lane, Pueblo, Colorado 81005. A viewing for family and friends will be from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. and the funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Fairmount Cemetery at 224 Sage Drive, Lamar, Colorado 81052
