USDA Confirms Starling Pesticide Operation Is Not Linked to Local Agencies

**Important Community Information**

The USDA will be conducting pesticide applications in this area to control the starling population. The pesticides used are rapidly metabolized by the birds. Any deceased birds found on private or public property do not pose a risk to humans or animals and may be disposed of in regular trash. If an animal comes into contact with or consumes a bird, the pesticide will not cause harm.
