Obituary

Francisco Aaron Montano-Aragon, “Cisco," entered into rest, February 14, 2026, in La Junta, Colorado.

He was born November 20, 2008, in La Junta, Colorado Cisco was 17 years of age.

Cisco is survived by his loving mother, Anitra Montano; sisters, Gabriella Montano of Denver, Colorado, and Crystalle Aragon of Denver; brothers, Matthew Montano—his twin—from La Junta, and Dominic Aragon, Jr. of La Junta; grandmother, Connie Montano of La Junta, grandfather, Roy Paiz of La Junta; aunts, Amanda Montano of La Junta and Lorraine Rubio of Garden City, Kansas; uncles, Gilbert Montano and Ron Montano, all La Junta, nieces, Essence Lopez of La Junta, and Delilah Venzor of Denver. He is also survived by his very close cousin, Jay Martinez of Pueblo and numerous other cousins, friends and family.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Gilbert and Simon Montano, and niece, Divine Venzor.

Cisco was a Junior at La Junta High School. Cisco loved sports, fishing, hunting, video games, music, family hangouts—especially loved roughing up his nieces. He also enjoyed joking around, night rides with his mom. Cisco was fun, happy and respected. He'll be greatly missed by all those who knew him and loved him.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Johnson-Romero Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
