Troopers Investigate Two Crashes on Interstate 25 at Milepost 245

No injuries reported, and the road is open

(Weld County, COLO) – On March 26, 2026, at about 7:48 a.m., the Colorado State Patrol responded to a 2-vehicle crash, involving a Toyota 4-Runner and a Jeep Renegade, on southbound Interstate 25 at milepost 245, near Mead.

Both vehicles were removed from the road. No injuries were reported during the incident.

While Troopers responded, a separate secondary crash occurred behind the initial scene involving 3 additional vehicles, a semi, a GMC Terrain, and a Chevrolet Silverado, blocking the left lane.

All 3-vehicles were removed from the road. No injuries were reported during the incident.

The Colorado State Patrol will be handling both crash investigations.
