Hello to all, thanks to a lightning-fast response from our friends at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Crowley County has officially moved to the Yellow Level! GREAT JOB CROWLEY COUNTY!!! This means that, effective immediately, Crowley County is now under COVID-19 Yellow Level restrictions. To see the Level Restrictions, go to the following website, scroll to the top, and click on “View Level Restrictions”: COVID-19 dial dashboard | Colorado COVID-19 Updates
The CDPHE website should reflect this move this afternoon after 4:00 pm (COVID-19 dial dashboard | Colorado COVID-19 Updates)
Crowley has made tremendous progress getting that rate down. When I last calculated, Crowley County had a 2 week community cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population (for the time period 1/14/2021-1/27/2021) of 33.16. This is significantly down from the peak rate of 961.56 recorded on 12/15/2020. This rate reduction IS NOT by accident, but by actions on your part. And now, the communities in Crowley County are directly benefiting from less sickness and reduced restrictions thanks to those actions.
NOW, PLEASE READ THESE IMPORTANT NOTES!
a. Your actions are making a difference! They are leading to reduced rates, which have lessened restrictions for individuals, families, schools, and businesses.
b. The pandemic is NOT over, we still have work to do, so please keep up the good work!
c. What is our goal now? Keep that rate going down until we establish Crowley County in Level Blue (COVID-19 dial dashboard | Colorado COVID-19 Updates)!
d. Our rates are reducing because you are doing your part. Please continue to abide by the Public Health Orders (https://covid19.colorado.gov/
e. PLEASE CLOSELY FOLLOW AND ABIDE BY LEVEL YELLOW RESTRICTIONS.
It is up to us.
