We don’t really have a recent update, today marks a whole week since the wreck.

He’s still about the same as my update on Tuesday. Still fighting pneumonia, still fully sedated, still fully on the ventilator.

Please keep your prayers up!

All of our phones have been blowing up, and we all know that we’ve missed so many calls and texts. We deeply apologize, but I promise we’re trying, there’s just a lot going on.

We’ve had many people/businesses/banks/and news stations reach out about a place to send donations. We aren’t planning on setting up anything, that baking we have had some that made sure to donate.

This can be done a couple different ways - this will be used for hotel rooms, fuel going up and down, meals, and eventually hospital bills.

Thank you all!

Update on Papa - Tom Billings

He’s still about the same condition as he was in my last update, which is why there was no update yesterday. He’s still fully sedated and on the ventilator. They’ve attempted to lessen the sedation, but when they do, he starts fighting the ventilator, so he will continue to be sedated until they can get him breathing on his own.

They now believe he has pneumonia from the secretions in his lungs. Last night and this morning they struggled with a very high fever and blood pressure issues, but thankfully they’ve gotten those leveled back out for now.

Grandma has been by his side since the accident. Mom came back home Sunday night to get more clothes and essentials, so today Mom, Dalton, and I all went up there together.

This is going to be a very long game of wait and see. We’re all staying hopeful, but this is not going to be a quick process.

We’ve also gotten a lot of questions about when the café will reopen. As of right now, it will remain closed. We have much bigger things to focus on at the moment, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

To everybody sending donations, checking in, stopping by to talk to Grandma, praying, and supporting our family in every way — it is all very much appreciated. We see it, and we’re incredibly thankful.
