Pueblo Police Arrest 18-Year-Old After Dirt Bike Crash, Foot Chase at Unsanctioned Car Show

Description: Pueblo police say an 18-year-old was arrested May 31, 2026, after allegedly riding a dirt bike recklessly, fleeing officers, and carrying a concealed handgun near an unsanctioned car show gathering on Prairie Avenue.

On May 31, 2026, Pueblo Police Officers were assigned to the 1200 block of Prairie Ave to uphold peace during an unsanctioned car show gathering on private property.

While on scene, officers observed 18‑year‑old Jordan Trujillo‑Trevizo illegally operating and recklessly riding a dirt bike at a high rate of speed. He lost control of the bike and fell from the dirt bike laying it on its side.
 
Trujillo‑Trevizo attempted to restart the bike as officers approached him. When he was unable to get the bike started, he fled on foot. Officers ran after Trujillo-Trevizo and saw him reaching into a black bag across his chest while running in the lanes of traffic. Officers gave commands but Trujillo-Trevizo failed to obey commands and was eventually tased causing him to fall to the ground.
 
A handgun fell from Trujillo-Trevizo, and he attempted to crawl toward the handgun, but officers were able to gain control of him before he reached it.

Trujillo‑Trevizo was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm, reckless driving, and resisting arrest. The dirt bike was towed from the scene.

All parties considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
