Pueblo Police Arrest 20-Year-Old After Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Wills Boulevard

On June 27, 2026, at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 4000 blk of Wills Blvd on reports of a traffic accident.

Upon arrival officers found one deceased individual. The victim’s identity will be released by the Pueblo County Coroner’s Office.
 
A passenger vehicle was also located near the scene of the accident, unoccupied. Officers immediately began investigating the accident and contacting the owner of the abandoned vehicle. The initial investigation revealed that the victim had been riding a motorcycle northbound along the side of the roadway when they were struck by the vehicle which was later found unoccupied.
 
A short time later, Joshua Wisthoff, age 20, was brought to the Pueblo Police Department where he was ultimately arrested.
 
Joshua was booked into the Pueblo County Detention Center for Vehicular Homicide, Failure to Remain on Scene Resulting in Death, Failure to Notify Police, Careless Driving, Driving Under the Influence, Illegal Consumption, and No Insurance.

This incident marks the 11th fatal traffic crash in the City of Pueblo in 2026.
