The South Arkansas Fire Protection District is proud to have 23 firefighters currently deployed on wildfire assignments across Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Florida, Utah, Arizona, and Alaska.

Right now, our personnel are serving on the:
Ferris Fire near Dolores in southwest Colorado
Snyder Fire near the Colorado–Utah border outside Fruita
Willow Fire near Leadville
 
While our priority will always be protecting the communities we serve here at home and supporting incidents across Colorado, we also take great pride in answering the call wherever our experience and resources are needed. Through state and national mutual aid partnerships, our firefighters help protect lives, property, and natural resources while bringing valuable experience back to our district.
