Many structures have been lost as of 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Those involved in the investigation for the Aspen Acres Fire are currently working on damage assessment, but this is not the time for speculation about structures or addresses that have been affected.
The investigation teams must safely enter the locations to assess and accurately track the addresses affected by the Aspen Acres Fire. Pueblo County Sheriff’s Deputies, victim advocates and command staff will personally contact individuals and owners of properties before information is publicly disseminated.
ASPEN ACRES FIRE UPDATE 6/30
UPDATE: As of 5:55 p.m. Mandatory evacuations are in effect for the North Creek area encompassing Central Rd to the Custer County Line. This may be your last chance to evacuate.
DO NOT WAIT. PLEASE EVACUATE NOW.
A Pueblo County Evacuation Center is located at 1650 Cooper Place at the Pueblo County Recreation Center. Household pets are accepted at this location.
Large animal/livestock are still being accepted at the Colorado State Fair, Enter Gate 7 off Small Ave.
UPDATE: As of 5:00 p.m. The Joint Information Center has closed for the evening. Updates will be posted on social media.
UPDATE: As of 2:53 p.m., Thank you to everyone who has donated items needed at the Evacuation Center located at 1650 Cooper Place Pueblo CO, 81006. We are currently in need of pre-packaged snacks and no longer need water.

EVACUATION Large Animals - Trucks and trailers are staged at the Colorado State Fairgrounds for livestock evacuation needs. Please contact Pueblo CART Livestock Division (Community Animal Response Team) at 719-251-0245.
A RED FLAG Warning is in effect for Wednesday, July 1st, from 10AM to 10PM.
A Fire Weather Watch will be in effect for Pueblo County on Thursday, July 2nd.

A Red Flag Warning is in effect for Pueblo County until 10pm. Canceled outdoor Parks and Recreation Programs in Pueblo County and City of Pueblo. Press Briefing - Time to be announced; location 4 Bar S Gathering - 6675 CO-78, Pueblo, CO 81005. Flights are restricted, including drones, over the fire.

We do not yet have an update on the status of the fire overnight. When we have further information, we will post it.
Currently all evacuation orders remain in place. Only those individuals with livestock will be allowed past the traffic control points at this time.
At this time, we do not have information on the status of homes or neighborhoods. We hope to have an update soon.
The evacuation center at 1650 Cooper Pl. is in need of items for pets to include blankets, towels and wet cat food. Please take donations to the shelter.
The large animal/livestock shelter is still accepting animals at the Colorado State Fairgrounds, Enter Gate 7 off of Small Ave., Rescue trucks are available, please call (719) 251-0245.
The large animal shelter is in need of buckets and headlamps. Donations can be taken to the Fairgrounds.
