Our La Junta Intermediate School and community is heartbroken by the loss of our beloved student, Genesis Mondragon. We are holding her family, friends, classmates, and teachers close in our hearts during this painful time.

Genesis was a wonderful and sweet girl who brought kindness and warmth to those around her. She had a special way of making others feel seen and cared for, and her presence meant so much to our school community. Her gentle spirit and the positive impact she made will always be remembered with love.

We send our deepest love, support, and strength to Genesis’s family as they face this unimaginable loss. We also extend our care to everyone in our community who is grieving alongside them, and we hope they feel surrounded by compassion and support in the days ahead.

Genesis will never be forgotten. She will live on in the beautiful memories shared by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and in the love she leaves behind in the hearts of so many.
