Obituary
Bryan Tyrone Martinez, lovingly known as “Paige,” passed away on July 1, 2026, at his home in Pueblo, surrounded by his loving family. He was 49 years old.
Born on August 6, 1976, in La Junta, Colorado, to John Martinez, Cecelia Martinez and stepfather Jesus Bailon. Paige lived life boldly and authentically and a heart full of joy, he had a rare ability to light up any room. Paige was a true jokester who loved playing tricks on anybody and everybody, sharing laughter, and making memories with those he cherished.
He found happiness in simple pleasures — playing bingo, cooking, dancing, and spending time with his family. He was one hundred percent himself, especially in a time when it wasn’t always easy to be. Above all, Paige loved his family deeply, especially his mother. He was truly one of a kind, and his courage, kindness, and playful spirit made him unforgettable.
Paige is survived by his parents, Cecelia Martinez of Pueblo and John Martinez of Denver; his siblings, Johnny (Lisa) Martinez of Arvada, Orlando (Jasmine) Martinez of Pueblo, Nicole Christina Martinez of Aurora, and Jordan Fieldkamp of Monte Vista; along with many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Eli Martinez and Jacob Garduno, his nephew Elijah Cruz Martinez and niece Lyrica Joi Martinez.
A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in La Junta, followed by a graveside service at Calvary Cemetery and a reception at the Parish Hall.
Johnson-Romero Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
