Hello to all. I have just finished calculating the COVID-19 Crowley County non-prison inmate one week cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population, and that rate was 99.47 (for the time period 2/5/2021-2/11/2021). The rate threshold for Level Yellow is 100.
ü What does this mean:
o We have experienced very recent increases in Crowley community cases;
o This DOES NOT establish a trend yet, it’s too early to tell;
o Crowley County HAS NOT moved to Yellow Level; &
o Crowley is still in Blue Level.a
ü Let’s keep that rate down and not move to Yellow Level again! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE:
o Wear a mask;
o Stay at least 6 feet away from others;
o Limit social interactions to those within your household;
o Symptom/temperature check all in your family before going out for necessary activities;
o Cover coughs and sneezes;
o Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth;
o Clean high touch surfaces;
o Stay home if you are sick; &
o Wash your hands appropriately and frequently.
