Pueblo County Announces Tentative Phased Re-Entry Plan for Beulah Residents Beginning July 13

Pueblo, CO - Residents in many areas of Beulah will tentatively be allowed to re-enter their properties beginning Monday, July 13, unless conditions change adversely. The re-entry will occur on a time schedule based on your property's location with the details outlined below. We ask that residents please follow the assigned schedule and routes designed to ensure a safe and timely re-entry process.

PLEASE DO NOT RE-ENTER BEFORE YOUR DESIGNATED TIME AS THIS WILL SLOW THE PROCESS.

First, we remind residents they must have a re-entry card to be allowed back into the area. The cards are issued at the Disaster Assistance Center, 29 Lehigh, which is currently open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. As residents re-enter, they are asked to do so via the Hwy 78 at 3R Road traffic control point.

Residents in the North Creek Road area near the County Line are still under evacuation as firefighters are still working in that location.

We ask that you only be on the roadways when necessary, as fire equipment and personnel are still actively working on hotspots and doing evaluations. Residents may still see smoke and potentially flames in the area. If you see smoke or flames in unburned areas, call 9-1-1.

Stay alert to weather conditions and warnings as flash flooding is a real threat to life and homes because of the fire.
