UPDATE 7/23/2026 22:11 - Fire progression has been stopped and crews are optimistic about a strong fire line. Incident Command has been transferred to area Forest Service units on scene who will monitor fire activity overnight and into tomorrow to complete containment. Most local agencies have been released from scene at this time. Thank you to all responding agencies for your great work!

UPDATE 7/23/2026 20:30 - Crews continue steady progress toward establishing a complete fire line. As conditions improve, mutual aid crews are beginning to be released. Responders will remain on scene for at least the next several hours to complete containment and manage flare-ups.

UPDATE 7/23/2026 19:40 - Crews on scene report primary forward progression of the fire is currently stopped. Fire remains active as responders manage multiple flare-ups and create a secure line around the entire fire.
