After a year long investigation by the Lamar Police Department, Jade Immett Downey was arrested on July 15, 2026 on the multiple charges. Mr. Downey is being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond.

Jade Immett Downey, 37, of Rocky Ford, CO, is being held at the Prowers County Jail on a $100,00 cash-only bond for the following charges:

C.R.S. 18-3-305(1) Enticement of a Child - F4

C.R.S. 18-3-405(1) Sex Assault on a Child - F4

C.R.S. 18-3-306(1) Internet Luring of a Child - F5

C.R.S. 18-3-602(1)(c) Stalking - F5

C.R.S. 18-7-107(1)(a) Disclosure of a Private Image for Harassment_M1

C.R.S. 18-6-803.5(1)(a)(1) Violation of a Protection Order

C.R.S. 18-4-503(1)(a)(b) 2nd Degree Trespassing

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
