Otero College Community Choir Invites Singers Ages 16–70 to Join Special Broadway Concert Celebrating America's Semiquincentennial

LA JUNTA, Colo. — Otero College is welcoming music lovers from across southeastern Colorado to become part of its vibrant Community Choir as it prepares for an exciting Broadway-themed concert celebrating America's 250th Anniversary (Semiquincentennial).

The choir is currently seeking singers between the ages of 16 and 70 who enjoy singing and want to perform in a fun, supportive community environment. Whether participants have years of vocal experience or simply love music, everyone with enthusiasm and a willingness to sing is encouraged to register.

The upcoming concert will feature beloved Broadway favorites while honoring the nation's historic 250th Anniversary, offering audiences an unforgettable evening of music, celebration, and community spirit.

The Community Choir is open to students and community members alike. No professional experience is required—just a passion for music and a commitment to attending rehearsals.

Rehearsal Information

• Rehearsals: Monday evenings

• Time: 7:00 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.

• Classes Begin: August 24
