Obituary

Marsha Jo Crafton of Manzanola, Colorado, entered into rest on August 4, 2026, at the Fowler Health Care Center in Fowler, Colorado.

Marsha was born to Flossie and Charles Potts on June 1, 1952, in La Junta, Colorado. She was 74 years of age.

Marsha is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Mike Crafton of Manzanola, Colorado; her children, Tracy Crouch of Cheraw, Colorado, Brian (Amanda) Crouch of Pueblo West, Colorado, and Andy (Debbie) Crafton of Ordway, Colorado; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Loretta Gores of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by her beloved four-legged companions, Gracie and Katie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Flossie Potts, and her son, Kevin Wayne Crouch.

Marsha was raised in Fowler, Colorado. After spending many years experiencing other places, she married Mike Crafton on May 19, 1990, and moved to Manzanola, where she continued raising her children and creating a beautiful, happy home. She worked as a waitress for many years, including at Ranchers Restaurant and Patricio’s Mexican Restaurant in Manzanola.

Marsha played piano for local school concerts and shared her talents generously with the community. She had a giving heart and was known for helping others in any way she could, often giving the shirt off her back or the food from her plate. Marsha never knew a stranger, and her family was the greatest joy of her life. She enjoyed iced tea, camping, roses, peonies, her pets, and especially her squirrels. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the love she gave so freely to all who knew her.
