Rocky Ford Police Thank Partner Agencies for Keeping Arkansas Valley Fair Safe

With another Arkansas Valley Fair week in the books, the Rocky Ford Police Department is thanking the agencies and community partners who worked together to help keep the annual celebration safe and enjoyable.

Protecting the Arkansas Valley Fair requires coordination between law enforcement, emergency responders, dispatchers and city crews throughout the busy week in Rocky Ford.

The Rocky Ford Police Department extended a special thank you to the Colorado State Patrol, Fowler Police Department, Otero County Sheriff's Office, Crowley County Sheriff's Office, La Junta Police Department, Rocky Ford Emergency Communications Center, Rocky Ford Public Works Department and Rocky Ford Fire Department for their assistance during the Fair.

"It takes a lot to protect the Fair," the department said. "We appreciate everyone that helped make it safe and fun."
